The Kong Nga Po Police Training Facility covers an area of 19 hectares, including Advanced Tactical Driving Training Ground, Major Traffic Accident Training Ground, Virtual Reality Traffic Accident Training System and Modernized Target Practice Range. CSME used two types of prefabricated insulated pipes, HDPE-PIP and GI-PIP, of which HDPE-PIP was the first time to be applied in Hong Kong site. The project team successfully explored the design, construction and acceptance of HDPE-PIP suitable for Hong Kong site, and combined BIM technology with MiMEP technology to prefabricate a variety of MiMEP products such as valve manifolds and hose manifolds in the factory. In addition, we have realized zero welding in the plant room, accelerated the on-site construction progress, and effectively saved the construction cost.

The total construction period is only 122 days. This is the first smart hospital in Hong Kong to adopt Modularized Integrated Construction (MiC) for negative pressure isolation wards.
